Trident Automobile’s Move Towards Green Energy

Trident Automobiles had initiated a move towards green energy when a Solar Rooftop Project at its KR Puram Facility was commissioned on 22nd July 2021 under BESCOM’s  Net-Metering Arrangement.

The KR Puram Facility houses 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) operations for Hyundai and Renault brands. The capacity of the Solar Rooftop plant is 195 KpW which is expected to generate up to 25,000 units of electricity per month.

It is expected that the project will break even in about 4.5 years. Trident Automobiles is committed to a cleaner & greener future and will be evaluating this project for two more outlets in Bangalore.

Mr. Arjun Muthanna (Director HR: Trident Automobiles) initiated the project and saw to its completion.

Mr. Shantharam (Site Engineer) and Mr. Giridhar (Head of Business Unit PV System Division: Emmvee Photovoltaic Pvt Ltd) will explain more about our project:  https://www.instagram.com/tv/CRnoX3QilZK/.

What is a solar rooftop? It is a set-up where solar panels are placed on rooftops to harness the sun's energy and convert them into electricity. They generate electricity, reduces carbon footprint, and have better insulation.
